Services

We will take a deep dive into your full psychiatric, medical, psychosocial, family history and current lifestyle. We will review and/or order laboratory tests as needed, identify your goals, and decide together on a treatment plan. If together we determine this is not the best fit (i.e. needing or wanting less intensive care, more benefit addressing trauma through EMDR therapy, etc.), I will work with you to identify options for referrals aligned with your goals and provide a written letter to summarize our takeaways for you to provide to them.
Areas of specialty:
- Premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD)
- Maternal and paternal/nonchildbearing partner's perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (postpartum depression, anxiety, OCD, etc.)
- Perimenopause and menopausal mental health
- Medical comorbidities, particularly when there's a sense of "something" being off that feels more than "just" mental health to you or your doctor
- ADHD and executive dysfunction
Length: 90-120 minutes
Fee: $650
This service is for patients (childbearing or nonchildbearing partners) who are in treatment with a psychiatrist, primary care provider, OB/GYN or midwife already and want additional guidance and insight around reproductive mental health concerns, including:
- Premenstrual dysphoric disorder (similar to PMS but more intense and results in more dysfunction)
- Perimenopausal and post-menopausal mental health
- Preconception planning
- Trying to conceive
- Infertility
- Pregnancy complications
- Traumatic birth
- Peripartum depression
- Peripartum anxiety
- Peripartum OCD
- Peripartum mood disorders
- Dysphoric Milk Ejection Reflex (D-MER)
- Maternal rage and paternal rage
- Cognitive functioning concerns around return to work ("mom brain" or "momentia")
After a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and review of your history, I will share guidance around best practices for your situation so that you can make the most informed choices possible about your treatment upon return to your primary provider (who will receive a brief report on what we discuss including recommendations).
Length: 90 minutes
Fee: $650
This service is a consultation for patients who are in treatment with a psychiatrist, psychiatric nurse practitioner or primary care provider already and would like a fresh set of eyes for perspective and/or additional tools for managing symptoms, side effects, or overlapping comorbid conditions.
Maybe you haven’t experienced a full response to treatment, there are pesky side effects you wonder about, or there’s a sense of “something else” being behind your experiences. Or maybe you simply would feel more reassured if a diagnosis was confirmed or explained in a different way to improve your understanding.
While medication is not prescribed, laboratory tests are sometimes ordered and review of these and/or other materials (e.g. neuropsychological testing or medical notes) may require a follow-up visit to convey impressions and recommendations. Collaboration with your primary provider is included (if desired) at no additional charge.
Length: 90 minutes
Fee: $650
Through ongoing care, we will combine medication management, therapy, integrative approaches and education to target your treatment goals. Typical frequency is every four to twelve weeks.
Length: 50 minutes (for initial phase, more intensive visits, and/or psychotherapy)
Fee: $415
Length: 25 minutes (for established patients, stable on regimen)
Fee: $250
